Mother nature provides the environments or stage in which the dramas of humanity unfold. Just as a sunny beach brings notions of calm and relaxation, the stormy and jagged rocky coastline brings ideas of peril and danger. Humanities co-existence with nature is an on-going theme in my landscape work, and my aim is to convey a rich range of emotions via a variety of works that never include a human figure. The works act as a portal in which the viewer becomes the 'figure'.
